Yesterday I went spinning wheel shopping. No I haven’t bought one yet. I played around with a couple for a few hours but couldn’t seem to make up my mind, which is ok. I want to make sure I’m getting the right one before I drop the money on one. The thing that sucks is, is that the closest spinning store is an hour and a half away in Greensboro. It turns out so is the jewelry store I have to take my engagement ring to. So yesterday whilst I was up that way I took my ring in and as it turns out, I have a couple loose stones (no comments from the Peanut gallery) so they have to send it in. Which means I have to go back up there in ten days……you know where else I’ll be stopping. I have narrowed my choice down to two wheels, so I’ll spend the next week or so doing a little research so next time I go up there I’ll be ready to make up my mind!
Today is World Wide Knit in Public Day (wwkip) and my local yarn store is hosting a group at a coffee shop up the road so thats where I’m headed today. Knitting, caffeine, and air conditioning who could ask for more!
